Finished

"My Knowledge of the History of Private Property", Diptych, each painting 14" Wide x 21.5" Tall, Oil on Canvas

Shitty Pics, and the yellow doesn't pop as well on the ochre-ish wall, but I am so happy right now!

Philadelphia is a hell of a place.

Last night I went to AxD Gallery on south 10th in Philly to see RA Friedman's photo exhibition, "A Cabinet Of Photographic Curiosities". I really enjoyed his work, and we were able to bond over our mutual adoration of polaroid film, and lament it's slow bittersweet passing. This show was part of one of Philadelphia's greatest cultural events, the Philly Fringe Festival. I had brought my broken Polaroid 600 and unmodified SX-70 cameras to take some stranger than normal photos of the event. I had also shot some stuff earlier in the day. Some of these photos came out well, others not so much.
